Wir sind heute Morgen richtung Las Vegas aufgebrochen. Nach dem wir den Großraum Los Angeles verlassen hatten, erreichten wir auch schon die Mojave Wüste. Eine lange, fast schnurgerade Strasse - mitten druch die Wüste... hin und wieder mal eine Tankstelle...
Nach etwas vier Stunden fahrt erreichten wir Las Vegas... "Die Hauptstadt der Spieler..."
Ein Hotel reiht sich an das nächste... Luxor, New York New York, MGM Grand, Bellagio, The Venetian...
Für die eine Nacht die wir hier in Vegas verbringen werden, haben wir uns im "Stratosphere" einquartiert. Das Hotel ist durch den angrenzenden höchsten freistehenden Aussichtsturm der USA bekannt.
Wenn man ein Hotel betritt, erwartet man eine Hotel Lobby... nicht so in Vegas - das erste was man zu Gesicht bekommt wenn man ein Hotel betritt, ist das Hotel eigene Casino...
Nach dem wir eingecheckt hatten und das Zimmer ausgekundschaftet hatten, sind wir los um den Strip unsicher zu machen...
